Description

Upgrade your Subaru’s stopping performance with EBC Redstuff Ceramic Front Brake Pads, part number DP31583C. Designed for fast street driving, premium sedans, sport compacts, and hot hatches, these low-dust pads deliver strong, consistent braking with high resistance to heat fade. Their nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 helps provide confident braking during repeated heavy stops while producing approximately 50 percent less dust than comparable semi-metallic pads.
EBC Redstuff pads feature an integrated Brake-In surface coating that conditions the brake rotor and helps accelerate the bedding-in process. Because these are hard-wearing performance pads, complete bed-in may take up to approximately 1,000 miles as the pad conforms to the rotor surface. Drivers should allow adequate time for this process before expecting peak performance. Once bedded, the pads are engineered to provide quieter operation and impressive repeated-braking capability, with testing demonstrating substantially shorter stopping distances than original equipment pads under high-speed conditions.
This EBC DP31583C front pad set uses a vented brake application and is identified by FMSI pad number D1078. The pads are designed for select Subaru Legacy applications from 2005 through 2007 and are intended as an ideal European-style performance brake upgrade for compatible vehicles. Most EBC Redstuff Ceramic pads are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation, supporting dependable street use and performance-focused driving.
