Description

Upgrade your vehicle’s braking performance with EBC Redstuff Ceramic Front Brake Pads, part number DP31229C. Designed for fast street driving, premium sedans, sport compacts, and hot hatches, these high-friction pads provide strong stopping power with reduced heat fade during repeated heavy braking. Most EBC Redstuff pads are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation, making them a dependable choice for an upgraded street braking system.
EBC Redstuff pads feature a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 and produce approximately 50 percent less dust than comparable semi-metallic pads. Their ceramic compound is engineered to keep wheels cleaner while delivering consistent braking response. In testing, Redstuff pads have stopped passenger cars up to 43 feet sooner than OEM pads from 100 miles per hour, depending on vehicle and operating conditions. The EBC Brake-In surface coating helps condition the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process for improved pad-to-rotor contact.
Because these are hard-wearing performance pads, the bedding period may take as long as 1,000 miles. Drivers should allow adequate time for the pads to conform to the brake rotors and achieve their intended performance. This application is designed for the front brakes of select Volvo S60, S80, and V70 models, including the 2004 Volvo S60, 2004 Volvo S80, 2004 Volvo V70, and 2009 Volvo S60.
