EBC Racing RP-X front brake pads, part number DP82454RPX, are engineered for peak on-track and race performance on select BMW M3, M4, and M2 applications. The RP-X compound delivers a 25 percent higher friction coefficient than EBC Racing RP-1 across its operating temperature range, along with a more positive initial bite and excellent pedal feel. This makes the pads especially suitable for heavy vehicles, high-performance driving, and brake systems that are inherently under-servoed.
Designed to maintain true race performance at the highest recorded racing temperatures, RP-X brake pads provide consistent stopping power during demanding track sessions. Stainless steel backing plates and EBC Racing’s Nucap NRS hook pad retention system support secure construction and dependable pad retention under severe braking conditions. The compound is also designed to be kind to brake discs compared with many aggressive racing materials, while offering disc wear comparable to other popular track compounds.
Because the RP-X compound prioritizes maximum track performance, drivers should expect higher brake dust and noise than with street-oriented pads or the less aggressive RP-1 compound. EBC Racing notes that RP-1 may be preferable for light- to medium-weight vehicles, vehicles without EBC Big Brake Kits, or applications without ABS. The RP-X front brake pads are intended for competition and performance use where strong initial bite, high-temperature stability, and confident pedal response are key priorities. Fits select 2021 and newer BMW M3 and M4 models, as well as select 2023 and newer BMW M2 applications; verify vehicle and brake configuration before ordering.

Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
