EBC manufactures its rotors from OE-spec grey cast iron, the same material used in new vehicle production. Many EBC rotors are produced in the company’s British foundry using in-house tooling. When approved outside sources are used to complete product ranges, the rotors are specified, sampled, and tested for element analysis, grain structure, tensile strength, hardness, ductility, and runout to support consistent quality. The GD1509 is engineered to meet demanding standards for durability and reliable brake operation.
The 3GD Series features wide directional slots that help remove dirt, dust, gas, and debris from the braking zone while promoting cooler-running brakes.
