The RP-X compound maintains a stable friction coefficient of 0.55 mu up to and beyond 1,562°F, helping provide reliable stopping power through repeated high-temperature braking events.
Built for true race performance, the EBC RP-X compound offers excellent pedal feel and control compared with previous RP1 and RP2 formulations. The pads use EBC’s Nucap NRS hook retention system to help secure the friction material to the backing plate under severe operating conditions.
