Description

Upgrade the braking performance of your Volkswagen Cabriolet with EBC Redstuff Ceramic Front Brake Pads, part number DP3517C. Designed for fast street driving and premium European sedans, these low-dust pads provide strong, consistent friction with excellent resistance to heat fade during repeated heavy braking. The nominal friction coefficient of approximately 0.5 delivers confident stopping performance while producing significantly less dust than conventional semi-metallic brake pads.
EBC Redstuff pads feature an integrated Brake-In surface coating that helps condition the brake rotor and accelerate the bedding-in process. Because these are hard-wearing performance pads, the initial bed-in period may take up to 1,000 miles as the pad conforms to the rotor surface. Drivers should allow adequate time for proper bedding before expecting full performance. Once bedded, the pads are engineered to provide quieter operation and reliable braking for spirited street use.
These EBC DP3517C pads use a solid rotor application and are designed for the front braking system of select 1990-1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet models. They are compatible with the listed FMSI D280 pad reference and are engineered as a direct-fit European vehicle brake upgrade. Most EBC Redstuff Ceramic pads are approved under the ECE R90 brake safety regulation, supporting dependable road use and consistent manufacturing standards.
