Description

Upgrade braking performance on your compatible Audi with EBC Redstuff Ceramic Front Brake Pads, part number DP31986C. Designed for fast street driving, premium sedans, sport compacts, and hot hatches, these low-dust pads deliver strong, consistent friction with excellent resistance to heat fade during repeated heavy braking. The nominal friction coefficient is approximately 0.5, helping provide confident stopping performance under demanding road conditions.
EBC Redstuff pads produce approximately 50 percent less dust than comparable semi-metallic pads, helping keep your wheels cleaner between washes. EBC testing has shown that compatible passenger cars can stop significantly shorter than vehicles equipped with original equipment pads during high-speed braking. Most EBC Red Ceramic pads are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation, supporting dependable street use when properly installed with compatible braking components.
The DP31986C features EBC Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the brake rotor surface and helps accelerate the bedding process. Because this is a hard-wearing performance pad, bedding may take up to 1,000 miles, and drivers should allow sufficient time for the pads to conform to the shape of the brake rotors. This set is intended for the front axle and is designed for select Audi A4, A5, and S5 applications using compatible vented brake systems and FMSI pad number D1322. Always verify vehicle fitment and brake configuration before installation.
