Description

EBC DP22170 Greenstuff 2000 Series front brake pads are designed for premium street driving and lighter sport compacts. Engineered to provide a strong initial brake effect, these automotive pads help deliver confident stopping from the first application of the brake pedal. With a nominal friction coefficient of 0.55 and performance up to 1,100 degrees F, Greenstuff pads improve stopping power while helping reduce heat fade during spirited street driving.
EBC Greenstuff brake pads are formulated to produce less visible dust than many conventional pads, while the dust they generate is easier to wash away. Brake pads naturally create some dust as part of normal operation, and additional dust may be present while the pads are bedding in, particularly when paired with worn rotors. For heavier, faster vehicles or applications above 200 horsepower, EBC recommends Redstuff pads for significantly reduced dust performance.
These EBC DP22170 pads feature a vented design and are identified by FMSI pad number D1711. They are designed for the front brakes of select 2014–2017 Mazda 6 models and are intended for dependable street performance, responsive pedal feel, and consistent braking control. Proper installation with compatible rotors and a complete bedding-in procedure is recommended to achieve the best results.
