The DEI Reflect-A-GOLD 1-1/2 inch x 30 ft heat tape roll is designed to provide exceptional thermal protection for automotive components exposed to extreme heat environments. Crafted from a metalized polyimide laminated glass cloth, this material effectively reflects and dissipates heat, preventing heat soak into critical areas such as firewalls, transmission tunnels, fuel cells, and engine covers. Its lightweight and flexible construction make it easy to trim to size and install in tight spaces without adding significant weight or bulk. The high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures the tape stays securely in place, even under continuous exposure to temperatures up to 800°F, while resisting UV degradation for long-term durability. The included release liner protects the adhesive and is rated to withstand temperatures up to 325°F, simplifying handling and application.
