Product Overview
The CARDONE 27-7555 Remanufactured Steering Gear restores precise steering control and OE-type feel on select Chevrolet Express / GMC Savana vans and Dodge full-size vans. As the main component in the power steering system, the gear box converts steering wheel rotation into smooth, predictable road wheel movement for confident handling and reduced driver fatigue.
Each unit is completely disassembled, cleaned and 100% hydraulically tested to verify proper flow, pressure and leak-free performance. All O-rings and lip seals are replaced with brand-new components, and the internal shafts are resurfaced to tight specifications to minimize seal wear and extend service life.
A rust-inhibitive “Cool Dip” coating covers all exposed surfaces, providing a durable finish that resists cracking, flaking and peeling. Built from original equipment cores and validated against OE performance standards, this gear delivers a direct-fit replacement for specified GM and Dodge van applications.
The eco-conscious reman process cuts energy and raw material usage by up to 80% versus manufacturing a brand-new gear.
