The CARDONE 22-1145 Remanufactured Rack and Pinion Assembly is engineered to deliver OE-level steering precision and long-term durability for full-size GM SUVs and trucks. Each unit is fully re-engineered and validated to meet or exceed original performance specifications, ensuring consistent hydraulic assist, precise steering feel, and dependable operation under heavy vehicle loads.
Every rack undergoes 100% hydraulic and performance testing to confirm correct flow, pressure, steering effort, and leak-free functionality. Critical sealing components—including OE-style O-rings, lip seals, spool valve seals, and rack donut seals—are replaced with brand-new components to eliminate internal leaks and prevent premature wear. Rack surfaces are precision-machined to maintain proper separation between hydraulic chambers, extending service life and maintaining consistent steering response.
Where applicable, valve housings feature polished micro-finish sleeves to enhance durability, and all units receive a protective external coating to guard against corrosion. As an OE-remanufactured part, the 22-1145 ensures a direct-fit installation and maintains factory steering geometry. CARDONE’s remanufacturing process also reduces environmental impact by using up to 80% less raw material and energy than producing a new rack.

Shipping Coverage

After 30 days, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or refund requests.
Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
