The Banks Power GBE42652 Pre-Filter is designed to enhance the performance and longevity of your Ram-Air intake system, especially in dirty or harsh environments. Constructed from a durable polyester mesh with uniform micron openings, this pre-filter effectively blocks large debris, mud, bugs, and other contaminants from reaching your primary air filter. By preventing clogging and embedded dirt, it helps maintain optimal airflow, enabling your engine to breathe easier and operate more efficiently. The pre-filter's hydrophobic surface is treated to repel water and moisture, making it suitable for humid or wet conditions. Its resistance to heat up to 400°F ensures reliable performance even under high-temperature conditions, while it remains resilient in freezing temperatures, preventing shattering or damage. This reusable, cleanable pre-filter extends the service intervals of your air filter, reducing maintenance costs and effort over time. Compatible with both dry and oiled filters, it fits 2017-2019 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty models as well as 2020-2026 Chevy and GMC 6.6L L5P trucks, providing a versatile solution for diesel truck owners seeking reliable filtration protection. The easy-to-install Banks Power Pre-Filter is an essential upgrade for those operating in dusty, muddy, or wet environments, ensuring your engine's air intake remains clean and unobstructed for longer periods. Whether on the road or off-road, this pre-filter helps improve the efficiency and durability of your vehicle's air filtration system, making it a valuable addition for heavy-duty diesel applications.
