The Banks Power Monster-Ram Turbo Inlet Elbow for the 2017-2026 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Duramax L5P offers superior airflow performance compared to stock components. Designed after more than a year of dedicated development, this intake elbow enhances air density to the turbocharger, resulting in improved throttle response and overall engine efficiency. Its innovative design reduces turbo shaft speed, which not only accelerates boost times but also extends turbo component life, making it a smart upgrade for heavy-duty applications.
Constructed from durable cast aluminum, the Monster-Ram features a sleek Banks red powder coat finish or a natural aluminum option for custom coatings. It boasts an 11% reduction in turbo drive pressure, translating to a smoother throttle feel and more responsive acceleration. With a 17% larger inlet and 23% greater volume capacity, this component is 18.7% less restrictive than the stock part, allowing for increased airflow and a 11.9% increase in mass airflow over the factory setup.
