This system is engineered to maximize airflow and improve engine performance through its innovative filter-to-housing interface and high-capacity filter. The 9-inch tall, pre-oiled Pro 5R filter features ten layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media, providing superior filtration efficiency and longevity. Its inverted top and large surface area enable extended maintenance intervals, while reinforced metal components ensure the filter remains structurally sound during demanding off-road conditions. The filter*s radial flow design enhances airflow, contributing to increased horsepower and torque, especially in off-road environments where maximum filtration and airflow are critical.

The housing is made from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), offering durability and resistance to heat soak. The one-piece sealed design simplifies installation by reducing the number of parts, and the patented filter-to-housing interface guarantees a secure, leak-free fit. A large, clear sight window allows for quick inspection without disassembly, facilitating routine maintenance. The intake system connects seamlessly to the factory air inlet scoop, requiring no additional hardware, and includes an optional auxiliary inlet for increased airflow during high-demand situations. A plug is provided to close off this inlet when not needed. To optimize power output, the intake system incorporates a computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube that ensures a perfect fit and maximum gains.

The package includes stainless-steel T-bolt clamps for secure connections and a premium bellows silicone coupling that offers flexibility and durability. Designed with fewer parts, the aFe Takeda Momentum Pro 5R Cold Air Intake System provides an easy, hassle-free installation process, making it a reliable upgrade for both casual enthusiasts and off-road adventurers seeking enhanced performance and engine responsiveness. This intake system complies with Prop 65 regulations, ensuring safety and environmental responsibility, and is a perfect choice for owners looking to improve their Subaru Outback's power and efficiency.

Features:

Pro 5R filter: ten layers of cotton gauze media for maximum filtration and performance

Radial flow design: large surface area for extended service intervals and improved airflow

Constructed from heat-resistant XLPE: durable, heat soak resistant housing

Patented filter-to-housing interface: secure and easy to install with minimal parts

Sight window: allows quick inspection without system disassembly

Seamless connection to factory inlet: no additional hardware required

Optional auxiliary inlet: increases airflow when needed, with plug included

Dyno-tuned intake tube: computer-designed for maximum power gains

Includes stainless-steel T-bolt clamps and flexible silicone coupling for durability and installation ease

Fitment:
2020 Subaru Legacy Base
2020 Subaru Legacy Limited
2020 Subaru Legacy Premium
2020 Subaru Legacy Sport
2020 Subaru Outback Base
2020 Subaru Outback Limited
2020 Subaru Outback Premium
2020 Subaru Outback Touring
2021 Subaru Legacy Base
2021 Subaru Legacy Limited
2021 Subaru Legacy Premium
2021 Subaru Legacy Sport
2021 Subaru Outback Base
2021 Subaru Outback Limited
2021 Subaru Outback Premium
2021 Subaru Outback Touring
2022 Subaru Legacy Base
2022 Subaru Legacy Limited
2022 Subaru Legacy Premium
2022 Subaru Legacy Sport
2022 Subaru Outback Base
2022 Subaru Outback Limited
2022 Subaru Outback Premium
2022 Subaru Outback Touring
2023 Subaru Legacy Base
2023 Subaru Legacy Limited
2023 Subaru Legacy Premium
2023 Subaru Outback Base
2023 Subaru Outback Limited
2023 Subaru Outback Onyx Edition
2023 Subaru Outback Premium
2023 Subaru Outback Touring
2024 Subaru Legacy Base
2024 Subaru Legacy Limited
2024 Subaru Legacy Premium
2024 Subaru Outback Base
2024 Subaru Outback Limited
2024 Subaru Outback Onyx Edition
2024 Subaru Outback Premium
2024 Subaru Outback Touring

https://mainstreeteshop.com/products/afe-takeda-momentum-pro-5r-cold-air-intake-system-for-subaru-outback-2020-2022-with-pro-5r-filter-part-afe56-70051r
