Featuring an innovative filter-to-housing interface, this system accommodates the largest possible air filter, measuring approximately 8 inches in height with a 4-inch flange, ensuring maximum high-flowing air intake. The included Pro 5R media utilizes five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze, delivering superior filtration while maintaining high airflow, making it ideal for both street and track use. Its inverted top design increases the filter surface area, extending service intervals, while the reinforced metal construction provides maximum durability and prevents collapse under demanding conditions. The sealed, one-piece housing made from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) integrates seamlessly with the intake tube, which is computer-designed and dyno-tuned for optimal power gains. The intake tube features Takeda's design inspired by import vehicles, combining form and function with excellent heat soak resistance and durability. Included stainless-steel clamps and a bellows silicone coupling ensure a secure fit and long-lasting performance. The system also features a large clear sight window for quick filter inspection without disassembly, simplifying maintenance and monitoring. Additionally, the barbed fitting allows for a seamless connection to the stock system, facilitating an easy installation process.
