The aFe Power Track Series Intake System for Ford F-150 models from 2017 to 2024 offers a high-performance upgrade designed for enthusiasts seeking increased horsepower and a refined induction sound. Crafted with a one-piece, heat-resistant housing, this system seamlessly integrates into the engine bay, providing both protection from engine bay heat and a sleek, aggressive appearance.
The centerpiece of this intake system is its lightweight, CAD-designed carbon fiber intake tube with blue Kevlar reinforcement, engineered to optimize airflow while reducing weight. The tube is manufactured without fiberglass, ensuring durability and a premium look. The system features a 9-inch tall, 360-degree radial flow open-element filter with a 5-1/2 inch flange, pre-oiled with Pro 5R media that incorporates five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze. This design maximizes high-flow air intake, resulting in noticeable power gains in both street and track environments. The inverted top filter design provides increased surface area, which extends service intervals and enhances filtration efficiency.
Surrounding the filter is an open-element XLPE polymer housing that minimizes warm engine air intake, ensuring maximum performance. The intake scoop captures cold air directly from the top of the radiator support, contributing to improved engine efficiency. The high-strength stainless-steel clamps and premium silicone couplers facilitate a secure, flexible connection from the filter to the intake tube, which directs filtered air into the engine with minimal restriction. The system's design utilizes factory mounting locations, simplifying installation and ensuring a perfect fit with minimal hardware. The entire assembly not only boosts airflow and power but also elevates the visual appeal of your engine bay, making it a compelling upgrade for serious enthusiasts.
