The Aeromotive 10 Micron Microglass Filter Element (Part Number: aer12639) is designed for high-performance fuel systems supporting demanding applications involving pump gas, racing fuel, diesel, jet fuel, and aviation fuels such as avgas. This replacement element is compatible with all 2-1/2 inch OD filter housings and is ideal for use in ethanol and methanol fuels, making it suitable for a wide range of EFI engines and carbureted setups. Its construction with microglass media ensures efficient filtration while maintaining high flow rates, supporting up to 400 gallons per hour with less than 1 PSI pressure drop. This makes it suitable for engines with up to 4,000 Flywheel HP on gasoline and up to 2,800 HP on ethanol or methanol, especially those equipped with medium to large Aeromotive fuel pumps from the Eliminator series, including belt and hex-driven mechanical pumps.
