Description

The Wilwood D154 Front Caliper Kit is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for factory cast iron calipers on mid-size GM cars and small trucks from 1978 to 2002. Constructed from forged billet aluminum, these calipers offer a significant weight reduction while maintaining high strength and durability. Stainless steel pistons and competition-grade high-temperature seals ensure resistance to rust, bore pitting, and seal failure, providing low-maintenance, reliable performance for street driving and track use. The D154 calipers mount in the stock location over OE rotors, utilizing the original style brake pads and OE M10-1.5 banjo bolt brake line fittings, making installation straightforward and compatible with most wheels that clear the original calipers. The 1.62-inch piston version provides a piston area of 4.12 square inches per caliper, maintaining the original front to rear brake bias when paired with the OE master cylinder.
