Help reduce oil vapor buildup in the intake system of your 2007-2014 Ford Mustang GT500 with the J&L Oil Separator 3.0, Driver Side, Clear Anodized, part number JLT3012D-C. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil-laden vapors can travel through the PCV system and accumulate in the intake tube, manifold runners, and other components. This condition can be more pronounced in forced-induction applications such as the GT500. By separating oil vapor before it reaches the intake, this J&L separator helps support cleaner intake components and more consistent engine operation.
The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 features a solid billet aluminum body with a knurled tank base for convenient removal during service. An O-ring seal helps prevent leaks, while quick-connect PCV fittings support a straightforward installation. Its multistage filtration system combines a fine stainless steel mesh screen with an aluminum honeycomb filter to capture suspended oil vapor, allow it to condense, and collect it in the removable lower chamber while permitting cleaned air to continue through the PCV system.
The separator provides a 3-ounce fluid capacity and is designed for routine draining during vehicle maintenance. J&L recommends checking and draining the unit approximately every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, although service intervals may vary depending on driving conditions and engine use. This driver-side oil separator is engineered specifically for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 Ford Mustang GT500 applications. Professional installation is recommended, and fitment should be confirmed before ordering.
