The J&L JLT3023P-C Oil Separator 3.0 is designed for the passenger side of 2010-2018 Ford Taurus SHO models equipped with the EcoBoost V6 engine. During normal crankcase ventilation, oil-laden vapors can travel back through the intake system, where they may accumulate in the intake tube and manifold runners or contribute to reduced fuel octane. This effect can be more pronounced on turbocharged engines because of increased crankcase pressure. The J&L oil separator helps reduce the amount of oil vapor returning to the intake by separating and collecting contaminants before they reach the engine’s air path.
The multistage filtration system uses a fine stainless steel mesh screen to capture small oil vapors and allow them to condense. The collected fluid then passes through an aluminum honeycomb filter that promotes additional separation, causing heavier oil particles to fall into the removable tank rather than continue toward the intake. Cleaned air is allowed to pass through to the intake system. The separator has a 3-ounce capacity and can be drained periodically as part of routine maintenance.
Constructed from solid billet aluminum, the J&L JLT3023P-C is built for durability and finished with a clear anodized surface. Its knurled tank base supports easy removal during draining, while the O-ring seal helps prevent leaks. Quick-connect PCV fittings simplify installation and provide a secure connection to the vehicle’s crankcase ventilation system. For best results, inspect and drain the separator every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and engine use.
This passenger-side oil separator is intended for select 2010-2018 Ford Taurus SHO EcoBoost V6 applications, including model years 2010 through 2018. Verify vehicle fitment before installation. This product is not CARB approved and may not be legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles in certain jurisdictions.

Eligibility

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
