Product Overview
The CARDONE 27-7530 Remanufactured Steering Gear restores precise steering control and OE-like feel on Chevrolet and GMC P-series step vans, chassis cabs, and motorhome chassis. As the central component in the steering system, the gear box translates steering wheel input into smooth, predictable wheel movement for confident handling and better driver comfort.
Each unit is completely disassembled, cleaned and 100% hydraulically tested to verify correct flow, pressure and leak-free performance. All O-rings and lip seals are replaced with brand-new components, and the internal shafts are resurfaced to exacting specifications to minimize seal wear and extend the service life of the gear.
A rust-inhibitive “Cool Dip” finish protects all exposed surfaces and resists cracking, flaking and peeling for long-term corrosion resistance. Built from original equipment cores and validated against OE performance standards, this steering gear is a direct bolt-on replacement for a wide range of Chevrolet P10/P20/P30 and GMC P1500/P2500/P3500 chassis applications.
