Product Description
The CARDONE 27-7525 Remanufactured Steering Gear is engineered to restore precise steering response and OE-quality handling across a wide range of GM, Jeep, and AMC vehicles. As the core of the steering system, this gear box translates steering wheel motion into accurate front-wheel movement, ensuring predictable and confident control in all driving conditions.
Each unit is remanufactured to meet or exceed OE performance and is 100% hydraulically tested for proper fluid flow, internal pressure, steering effort, and leak-free operation. All internal seals and O-rings are replaced with brand-new components, while shafts are resurfaced to exact specifications to prevent premature seal wear and extend gear life.
CARDONE’s signature Cool Dip rust-inhibitive coating penetrates and protects the gear housing, providing a durable finish that resists cracking, flaking, and peeling. As an OE-fit remanufactured component, the 27-7525 installs directly in place of the original steering gear for a wide range of Jeep Cherokee/Comanche/Wagoneer, Chevrolet S-Series, GMC S-Series, Cadillac Brougham/Fleetwood, AMC Eagle, and more.
Environmentally conscious remanufacturing reduces raw material usage and energy consumption by up to 80% compared to new production.
