The Autolite APP5426 Double Platinum Spark Plug is designed to deliver reliable ignition performance, reduced misfires, and extended service life. Its platinum-to-platinum firing design features platinum pads on both the center and ground electrodes, helping minimize gap erosion and maintain consistent spark delivery over time.

A copper core center electrode improves heat transfer, helping maintain optimal operating temperatures while reducing fouling. The yttrium-enhanced ground electrode provides superior durability under high heat and pressure, making this spark plug ideal for distributorless ignition system (DIS) engines. The high alumina ceramic insulator offers excellent thermal conductivity and dielectric strength, while the multi-rib insulator helps prevent flash-over for dependable ignition performance.
