Its pliability allows for a tight, secure application around complex shapes and tight bends, ensuring an optimal fit without requiring pre-wetting or silicone coating. Once heat-cycled, the fibers lose flexibility, so removal should be avoided after installation, especially around flex pipes and joints, to maintain thermal integrity. DEI explicitly advises against wrapping titanium exhaust systems because the thin alloys are designed to dissipate heat quickly, and trapping excessive heat can cause brittleness and cracking. For heat reduction on titanium exhausts, DEI recommends flexible heat shields instead. Eligibility
Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.

Items that have been altered, installed, or modified cannot be returned.
