Crafted from forged 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a durable clear anodized coating, these control arms are approximately 40% lighter than the OEM parts, reducing unsprung weight for improved handling and responsiveness. The set includes a pair of control arms featuring a combination of high-quality bushings and bearings that enhance dynamic shock control while minimizing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH).
Each control arm is equipped with Delrin bushings at the shock mount for reduced friction and better shock absorption, resulting in more precise handling. The inboard bushing incorporates a large tuned elastomeric material that balances stiffness for improved stability with compliance to keep NVH levels low. Additionally, the outboard spherical bearing significantly reduces bushing twist, providing better control during aggressive driving or cornering. For street applications, only one spherical bearing was used to keep NVH levels manageable, although an upgrade with a second spherical bearing is available for racing use.
