Description

Upgrade braking performance with the EBC GD2150 3GD Series Sport Slotted Front Brake Rotor Set. Designed for select 2017–2018 Audi Q7, S4, S5 and SQ5 applications, these vented rotors feature wide slots that help remove dust, dirt, and debris from the braking zone while promoting cooler operation under demanding conditions. The design is well suited for daily driving, spirited use, towing, trucks, SUVs, and sedans where consistent braking performance is important.
EBC manufactures its rotors from OE-spec grey cast iron, matching the material used in new vehicle production. Many EBC rotor designs are produced in the company’s British foundry, while approved outside sources are used selectively to complete certain overseas applications. When externally sourced, rotors are specified and tested for elemental composition, grain structure, tensile strength, hardness, ductility, and runout to help maintain reliable quality and fitment standards.
The EBC GD2150 rotor set is engineered for the original braking system and fits applications using FMSI pad number D1894. Anodized protection helps defend the rotor surface against corrosion, with the finish selected according to application requirements. The slotted face helps reduce brake fade under load and at speed by supporting heat management and maintaining a clean contact area between the rotor and brake pads. This set is intended for the front axle and includes two rotors for a complete front-axle replacement.
